AdventureAustria is a small, independent travel agency based in Austria.
We specialise in organised group activity holidays in Austria, in the region where we are based.
We are English but have been living and working in Austria since 2008.
AdventureAustria is registered in Austria.
Where is the nearest airport? No – we do not book flights for our guests at this time. We do organize holidays in Austria. We are happy to consult and advise you which flights to book, who flies where, best connections, best prices, etc.
Do you book flights?
Good question! Lienz is an undiscovered winter and summer paradise with an abundance of natural beauty, great weather, and fantastic outdoor recreation possibilities. Perhaps the Brits have yet to discover the region!
I’ve never heard of Lienz – how come?
Firstly – the region boasts an amazing location and scenery with much lower levels of tourism seen elsewhere in the Alps.
Secondly – the AdventureAustria idea was born through our passion and love of the area we live in and want to share it with like-minded people.
Thirdly – we love doing outdoor activities in the region ourselves!
Fourthly – we pride ourselves on giving a first-class, personal, and friendly service and offering guests a bespoke holiday solution based on their individual needs.
Why should I use AdventureAustria?
We are relatively new and mainly specialize in holidays and events in the region where we are based. We do offer a small number of excursions to other parts of Austria and will continue to expand as we go forwards.
Do you offer holidays to the whole of Austria?
All types! You don’t need to be an extreme sports person to enjoy one of our holidays! We have young and old, active, and less active guests. The only similarities are that all guests enjoy the natural surroundings and being somewhere ‘different’ in a place they’ve not heard of before.
What type of guests do you have?
A multi-activity holiday is simply a term for an active holiday involving a number of different activities (usually outdoors). For a list of activities – click here
