According to the travel agency and tour operator regulation in Austria (RSV), customer funds from package holidays organised by Christian Löffler AdventureAustria are covered for loss by an insurance bond under the following conditions:
A deposit may only occur up to eleven months before the end of the planned trip and shall not be more than 10% of the total holiday price. The balance is payable no earlier than 20 days prior to departure, after which travel documents will be issued to the customer. Any additional or early prepayments, including monthly payments are not permitted. Deposits and final payments are secured only to the extent that the tour operator is entitled by law to request them. The insurance bond will be used primarily to satisfy regulations of accepted payments.
Guarantor or insurer is Zurich Insurance with the contract commencing from 01.01.2014 with the policy number 701.015.380.509.
In the case of bankruptcy or insolvency, the registration of all claims must be made within 8 weeks from the day of an insolvency to the following liquidator:
