AdventureAustria is based in Lienz, the capital town of East Tyrol. The Dolomite town of Lienz has two excellent ski resorts (Zettersfeld and Hochstein) which are both located very close to the main town centre.
For those looking for further excursions to other East Tyrolean family friendly ski resorts should consider the tiny Kartitsch ski area by the village of St Oswald located 30km south of Lienz.
Two lifts service this very small ski area (4km) which is mainly for locals and children. However the main attraction here is the floodlit piste and night skiing which is on offer with loud music and great atmosphere!
