AdventureAustria is based in Lienz, the capital town of East Tyrol. The Dolomite town of Lienz has two excellent ski resorts (Zettersfeld and Hochstein) which are both located very close to the main town centre.
The Sillian Hochpustertal ski resort in East Tyrol (located just 20 minutes south of Lienz) is a fantastic gem of a ski resort.
This compact ski resort, also known as the Sillian Thurntaler ski resort has 55km of prepared pistes suitable for the professional skier to the beginner.
Visitors can expect above average sunshine hours as well as legendary views of the Dolomites over the Austrian/Italian border.
Sillian Hochpustertal also has the largest snow making facilities in the whole of East Tyrol and a brand new heated 6 seater chair lift which makes queuing for a lift a thing of the past.
There are plenty of facilities for families with children too and a large fun park for boarders and freeriders meaning there really is something here for everyone.
