5. Weissensee boat trip
At almost 100 meters high the Pyramidenkogel is the world’s highest observation tower made of wood. A staircase leads visitors to the top where you can enjoy a 360 ° view of the Wörthersee and surrounding areas on a viewing platform. The viewing platform can also be reached using a panoramic lift.
Over a period of thousands of years, the work of the Ragga stream created one of the most beautiful gorges in the Alps. Guests access the gorge through a narrow wooden walkway with vertical rock walls so high that daylight almost disappears. The return walk back leads through a shady forest path with stunning views of Flattach and the surrounding mountains. Overall, the walk is about 800 meters through the gorge and back down and ascends and descends approximately 200 meters.
