1. Swarovski Crystal Worlds

Karl Lagerfeld once said: “I have no stress but I have crystals!!” For all those with the same motto in life, and in particular for women, we recommend the following sparkling experience. The Swarovski Crystal Worlds offer an exciting and magical experience for families and art lovers alike with famous artists presenting their crystal art works in 14 exhibition rooms. A shopping tour through the luxurious shopping arcade promises fun for younger visitors as well as for fans of Swarovski. In addition, there are various attractions for example a question and answer session, which includes everything you ever wanted to know about crystal.

A further highlight for ladies is the in-house Swarovski Shop. The shop fulfils all wishes, from accessories to jewelry – here no wishes are left open.

2. Goldenes Dachl - under the Golden Roof of an Emperor

Emperor Maximilian I was one of the most colourful characters of the Habsburg Dynasty. He enlarged his power and through clever shrewd policies, created the first codified criminal law in the German-speaking world. Emperor Maximilian was one of the pioneers of modern warfare, in particular for the artillery. In addition he also reformed the administration. The Golden Roof housed the first fixed administrative and governmental authorities of the empire.

With its 2,657 fire-gilded copper tiles, the Golden Roof was well-known during the lifetime of Emperor Maximilian’s reign not only in Tyrol but far beyond the borders and in the course of time became the landmark of Innsbruck. A tour of the museum takes you in this late medieval world of guilds and estates and lets you experience the beggars and citizens, the court festivities and bloody battles and the bustling commercial and lucrative silver trade. But before you begin this journey into the past, take an “Imperial” view from the alcove balcony and enjoy – as emperor Maximilian did, the hustle and bustle in the historic city centre of Innsbruck.

3. Freizeitpark Zahmer Kaiser - Amusement Park Zahmer Kaiser

The magnificent scenery at the foot of the Kaisergebirges, about 3 km before the town Walchsee, coming from Kufstein direction is the summer alpine coaster and Amusement Park of Zahmer.

Travelling along elegant curves visitors will experience one of Europe’s most attractive alpine coasters. The coaster travels over green slopes and meadows, through underpasses and along a 90 meter long bridge as well as many over-banked curves which offer an exciting and varied journey. At the amusement park station guests can expect a small petting zoo along with rides such as the Skydive and Luna-Loop. These rides involve swings, jumps and flying over water and through the air – recommended for those that enjoy the intoxication of speed!

You take the chairlift up to the middle station to reach the toboggan run. Alternatively you can take a nice break in the Alpengasthof Berghof. From there, you can hike on well-kept routes and enjoy the magnificent views of the Walchsee Lake and impressive peaks of the Kaisergebirges.

4. Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn

Amazing, unrestrained, wonderful. The Fieberbrunner mountain has much to offer: one of the most beautiful alpine lakes of the Alps, the gritty Timoks coaster, a mind-blowing aerial runway park, a deer park, a discovery trail, a via ferrata climbing course and much, much more.

Next to wildly romantic Wildseelodersee Lake, visitors enjoy the hiking trails and breathtaking panoramas. From Larchfilzkogel the lake is just a few minutes walking distance. When you look at the lake reflection, for a brief moment the world seems to stand still. The surrounding mountains reflect in the crystal clear surface leaving you with the feeling and silence of pure nature.

Action fans and adventure spirits are also in the right place here. How about a ride in a coaster? Over the Kaiserwelle, a giant dead snake and a 360 ° carousel? Here you also get a bird’s eye view of Fieberbrunn. There is also the Panoramaklettersteig, a high climbing way with course names such as “Heaven and Hen” (easy – the whole family can climb), the “Be Patient”, the “Racy” and the “Zache”.

5. Mayrhofen – Ahorn & Penken

Enjoy an active time-out from the stresses of everyday life and dive in to the diverse leisure activities at the Leisure Mountain Ahorn and Action Mountain Penken which offers a perfect mix of unspoilt nature and sports activities: whether you want to watch the sun coming up with breakfast on Ahorn or a sporty mountain bike ride on Penken, the Mayrhofen region provides all the ingredients for a perfect summer day.

An ideal start to the day, is watching the sun come up with breakfast. This is the perfect way to prepare for the Ahorn mountain hike. This leads around the Ahorn Plateau and offers beautiful views. Interactive stations provide information about the flora and fauna including regions of the Zillertal Alps. The Ahornsee Lake or chill-out garden invite you to take a picnic or simply relax. And at the end of the hike awaits a very special attraction: the birds of prey bird show.

The air on the Penken is full of adventure and adrenaline: With the Penken mountain gondola, guests can reach the exit station at 2,000 meters nice and comfortably, even with a bicycle. The reservoir on the Penken Funsportstation lives up to its name: on sunny days a huge inflated Funballz roles over the surface of the water without the people inside getting wet or with the Bergrollern explore the steepest hills, downhill style. Guests can get to all the activities along with their sports equipment comfortably with the lifts of the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen.
