The platform floats freely at almost 360 meters high and allows a unique view of the UNESCO region of Hallstatt and the hiking paradise of Dachstein Salzkammergut. The steel structure is located directly below the Rudolfsturms and extends 12 meters into the abyss. Those who dare will be rewarded with the unique view of Hallstatt and the Welterberegion. Thanks to salt mine elevator and panoramic bridge, the platform is easily accessible and barrier-free.

The Hallstatt Valley – walk through the millennia with archaeological finds from the salt mine and almost a thousand open tombs which are so unique that a whole era (800 – 400 B.C.) is known worldwide as “Hallstatt time”. The tour guides are available in 11 languages.

2. Experience Erlebniswelt Pöstlingberg

The So-called Erlebnisweld is a special attraction and not just for families. After the journey with the Postlingbergbahn (mountain railway) there are just a few steps from the Basilica to the viewing platform and the Linzer fairy tale and dwarf world. Climb in and enjoy the journey to Linz’s mountain, 30 minutes directly from the main square in Linz. From there you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Linz.

Grootenbahn: With the Drachenexpress experience a world of the dwarves, forest animals and fairy tales. In the basement you will see various scenes from famous fairy tales in life-size statues and be able to stroll over the main square in Linz at the turn of the century.

3. Attersee boat trip – jetty Weißenbach

On board of the Attersee-Flotte discover Austria’s largest inland lake from its most beautiful side. With the first solar-powered boat in Austria, a boat trip on the lake Altaussee is in perfect harmony with the unique natural landscape of the beautiful surroundings.

4. The soaring ‘Höhenflug’

The unique charm of the old town and city are the ideal framework for this exceptional rope park located in the middle of the city. Unique is not only the fact that here is a historically important city, but also the system itself, with its elements including Flying Fox, slacklines and numerous other challenges which await guests.

5. Sinnepark – Muenzbach – let yourself be fooled!

In the Sinnepark visitors of all ages are invited to learn about and to activate their senses. The individual stations all have one thing in common: the visitors have to do the work themselves, touching objects to set things in motion and open your senses. This amusement park is full of fun surprises which includes a special herb garden complete with quiz as well as a walk-in kaleidoscope, distorted mirrors and many other incredible optical illusions.
